
Traditionally, Samsung tends to refresh its Galaxy Watch line every year, so many people are currently looking forward to the Galaxy Watch8. Today, the configuration information of these smartwatches has been shared on the internet.

All three of Samsung's next smartwatches will use the 3nm Exynos W1000 chip paired with 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic have 32GB of internal storage, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has double the internal storage at 64GB. The new smartwatches will run on One UI 8 Watch software based on Wear OS 6 out of the box. Samsung is likely to deliver four major software updates to these smartwatches.

The Galaxy Watch8 will come in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm. The Galaxy Watch8 Classic will come in a 46mm size, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra will stay at 47mm. The Galaxy Watch8 will come in 1.34-inch and 1.47-inch display variants, while the Galaxy Watch8 Classic has a 1.34-inch display. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 also has a 1.47-inch display. All three smartwatches can reach a maximum screen brightness of 3,000 nits and have a pixel density of 327ppi.

The Galaxy Watch8 has an aluminum case, while the Watch8 Classic has a stainless steel case. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will have a titanium case like the previous generation. The displays on all three watches are protected by sapphire glass. The Watch8 has a silicone sports band (Small/Medium), while the Watch8 Classic has a premium band (Small/Medium/Large). The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 comes with a premium sports band (Small/Medium/Large).

They also come with a host of health and fitness tracking sensors, including: Accelerometer, Altimeter, Gyroscope, Light Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, PPG (Photoplethysmographic) Sensor, ECG (Electrocardiogram) Sensor, BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) Sensor. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has the largest battery (590mAh), the Watch8 Classic has a 445mAh battery, while the 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch8 has a 325mAh battery and the 44mm model has a 435mAh battery. All of them have magnetic wireless charging.

The Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic will come in Bluetooth-only and Bluetooth + Cellular (4G LTE) versions, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will only be sold in Bluetooth + Cellular (4G LTE) versions. According to a new report from WinFuture, the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic will cost more than their predecessors, while Samsung will not increase the price of the new generation Watch Ultra model.

Starting with the standard Galaxy Watch8, the 40mm and 44mm variants will be priced €40 to €50 more than the Galaxy Watch7. For reference, the 40mm/44mm Wi-Fi Galaxy Watch 7 launched at €319 and €349, respectively.

Next, the upcoming Galaxy Watch8 Classic will also cost €50 more than the Galaxy Watch6 Classic when it launches in 2023. To recall, the Watch6 Classic started at €419. This means the Galaxy Watch8 Classic will start at €469 and go all the way up to €549.
