Futsal HDBank National Championship 2025: Sahako held to a draw

The opening match of the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship brought a surprise to the audience. Sahako was rated higher but could not win against Saigon Titans.

The 2022 champions took an early lead with goals from Vu Duc Tung and Huynh Huy Hao after just 5 minutes of play. However, Nguyen Tho Minh Huy's red card in the 15th minute put Sahako at a disadvantage.

Saigon Titans took advantage of the 5 minutes of playing with an extra player to score a goal to shorten the score to 1-2. Le Quoc Nam scored to help the underdog team rekindle hope.

The 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship kicked off on the afternoon of February 16 with the first two matches of round 1.

Sahako struggled for the rest of the match and could not maintain their lead. At the end of the match, Nguyen Lam Gia Tho scored the equalizer to help Saigon Titans earn 1 point.

The second match taking place tonight, February 16, is the match between Ho Chi Minh City Youth and Luxury Ha Long. These are two teams that are not highly rated in the tournament, but because of that, they always play with a spirit of dedication. This contributes to creating an exciting match.

The tournament's rookie team, Ho Chi Minh City Youth, produced a disciplined performance. They won 4-3 against Luxury Ha Long after a dramatic score chase.

Ho Chi Minh City Youth continuously took the lead in this match. Hoang Minh Thuc opened the score in the 6th minute.

Nguyen Vo Binh An helped Luxury Ha Long equalize but their opponents immediately took the lead thanks to a goal by Do Tuan Vu. Nguyen Kim Thuan scored 2-2 in the last minute of the first half.

The chase continued in the second half. Ho Chi Minh City Youth took the lead twice more and won thanks to Minh Thuc's shining moment.
