Duc Trong: Ensuring site clearance progress for Bao Loc

This plan was issued after Conclusion No. 320 dated May 23, 2025 of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, demonstrating the locality's high determination in completing project-related tasks on time.

Accordingly, Sub-Project 1 Compensation, site clearance, support, and resettlement within the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model (phase 1) is expected to have a total recovered area of about 209.36 hectares through Duc Trong district with 989 households, individuals, and organizations whose land and water surface are recovered and affected.

The implementation locations are in the communes of Ninh Gia, Phu Hoi, Lien Hiep, N' Thon Ha, Tan Hoi, Hiep Thanh and Lien Nghia town. Regarding the contents of Sub-Project 1, in May, the district's functional departments held a meeting with the people to disseminate and receive opinions before issuing the land recovery notice; other contents and items will be implemented and completed in June 2025; the item on resettlement arrangement is expected to be completed in December 2025.

The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model will be implemented in the 2022 - 2027 period; expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2027.

The project aims to gradually complete the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong expressway system according to the planning approved by the Prime Minister; improve connectivity with the national transport network, shorten the time to connect the Central Highlands provinces with the key economic region in the South and the economic - social - industrial centers along National Highway 20. At the same time, improve the capacity of transporting goods, foreign trade, meet the increasing demand, reduce congestion and traffic accidents for National Highway 20 which is in an overloaded state; create a breakthrough in socio-economics, promote tourism development, ensure security and defense of Lam Dong province in particular, the Central Highlands region in general; maximize the investment efficiency of the Dau Giay - Tan Phu, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway project, making an important contribution to expanding the space, building and developing Da Lat, Lam Dong province to become a modern urban area.

With a detailed plan and clear division of responsibilities, Duc Trong district is making every effort to speed up site clearance, creating a solid foundation for the completion of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province and the Central Highlands region.
