On the morning of June 8, in Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district, the Youth Union of Nghe An province's Party agencies coordinated with Nghi Loc district Youth Union and Nghi Thiet commune Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of the "Pink Vacation" volunteer campaign, responding to the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
Attending the launching ceremony were comrades: Tran Quang Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Manh Phong - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; and representatives of Nghi Loc district, Nghi Thiet commune, Cua Lo port and related units.
In recent times, the "Youth Volunteer" movement has developed extensively, associated with the tasks of socio -economic development, security and defense of the country and the province, attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate.
Among them, the most prominent is the “Pink Vacation” Volunteer Campaign – one of the five key programs of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. This is considered a volunteer activity for union members, young people who are civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies and enterprises to promote the pioneering role in applying knowledge, expertise and skills to participate in social activities and serve the community.
The volunteer campaign "Pink Vacation" has long become a core content of Nghe An province's youth, with an increasingly expanding scale, the content and form of activities are always innovative, creative, practical and specific.
Through movement activities, the team of young cadres, civil servants and public employees have promoted the spirit of revolutionary shock, voluntarily contributing their youth, creativity, knowledge and skills in performing professional tasks, while joining hands with the community, contributing to affirming the vitality of the movement in social life, spreading the spirit of volunteerism and good values.
In 2025, with the motto "Proactive, Creative, Practical and Effective", the youth of the Provincial Party Committee and the youth of Nghi Loc district will establish "Pink Holiday" volunteer teams, undertaking meaningful projects and tasks such as: Digital transformation knowledge dissemination team; People's health care team; New rural construction support team and Volunteer team for community life, actively participating in social security work.
The teams will implement specific programs and activities such as: "Green Sunday", "Volunteer Saturday"; promote the campaign "Digital & AI Education for All"; support students and families in difficult circumstances; visit and take care of families with meritorious services to the revolution, lonely elderly people, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; actively donate, support materials and resources to carry out volunteer projects and programs in poor communes, border areas, and islands in Nghe An province.
Speaking at the launch program, comrade Nguyen Ba Tuan Anh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Party Agencies of Nghe An province affirmed: The Youth Union of the Party Agencies of the province aims to deploy at least 30 grassroots volunteer youth projects and tasks by the end of the campaign, contributing to the overall achievements of the youth of Nghe An province.
Responding to the launching ceremony, the youth of the provincial Party agencies and the youth of Nghi Loc district carried out many practical activities such as: coordinating with the youth of Cua Lo Border Guard Station and socio -political organizations of Nghi Thiet commune to organize the activity "Joining hands to clean the marine environment"; coordinating with Saigon Vinh Eye Hospital, Thai Thuong Hoang Hospital, Nguyen Phuc Traditional Medicine Hospital to provide free health examination and consultation for people; propagating laws on traffic safety, drug prevention and control and social evils; supporting people to integrate their identity documents on the VNeID application.
At the same time, the youth of the provincial Party Committee also presented clean water facilities to children at Nghi Thiet Primary School, presented medicine and medical supplies to Nghi Thiet Commune Health Station, presented 100 national flags to fishermen going out to sea, and presented 10 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances...
These practical activities not only contribute to taking care of people's lives but also spread the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community of the youth of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
