Recently, in the Pi Network community, “GCV” or Global Consensus Value has become a hot and controversial topic. Some users believe that this is the key to breakthrough wealth, while many others warn that it is just an unfounded illusion.
The idea for GCV originated from a group of early adopters who proposed that 1 Pi should be worth $314,159, based on the constant π. The group believed that the price of Pi would increase with the number of users and potential applications in real life.
However, analysts say the Pi Network development team has never confirmed that price. No major exchanges currently list Pi at a price similar to GCV, and most trading still occurs at around $0.63.

Some transactions recorded on the Pi Network blockchain are even symbolic or “staged,” such as spending thousands of dollars on items that actually cost just a few dollars. This raises further doubts about the authenticity of GCV.
Experts like Mr. Spock and Dr Altcoin urge the community to stop chasing the unfounded “million dollar dream”. They encourage shifting attention to more practical issues such as perfecting the KYC process, deploying a stable mainnet, being transparent about the token mechanism, improving the speed of token distribution, increasing rewards for validators, and promoting practical applications for Pi.

Bitcoin has just experienced a sharp decline, currently only around $ 101,579. In the past 24 hours, this digital currency has lost 3.5% of its value, and if calculated for the whole week, the decrease is up to 4.5%.

Bitcoin is currently hovering near the important psychological support level of $100,000. A break below this level could trigger a large-scale automatic sell-off, pushing the price to the $95,000–$98,000 range.
