Army Academy visits and gives gifts to policy families and disadvantaged households in Lam Ha

(LĐ online) - On the occasion of the Army Academy organizing a drill for students of the 2024-2025 school year, on the morning of June 7, the Academy's working delegation led by Colonel Tran Trung Dung - Deputy Head of Political Department visited and presented gifts to policy families and households in difficult circumstances in Dinh Van town, Lam Ha district.

Giving gifts to policy families

At the program, the delegation presented 25 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to policy families and disadvantaged households in the area; at the same time, presented souvenirs to local authorities. The total value of the gifts was over 15 million VND.

Colonel Tran Trung Dung - Deputy Head of Politics of the Army Academy spoke at the program.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Tran Trung Dung - Deputy Head of Politics of the Army Academy, emphasized: "This mass mobilization activity is an opportunity for officers and students of the Army Academy to express their sentiments, responsibilities and morality of remembering the source of water, continuing the fine tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers".

Thereby contributing to consolidating the people's hearts and minds, enhancing the military-civilian solidarity relationship, especially between the Academy and the Party Committee, government and people of Dinh Van town in particular and Lam Ha district in general.

Presenting souvenirs to local authorities and committees

Colonel Tran Trung Dung also expressed his hope that the local government and people will continue to accompany and support the Army Academy to successfully complete its exercise tasks; at the same time, encourage families with preferential policies and disadvantaged households to continue to strive to overcome challenges, comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws, actively participate in labor production, and contribute to the development of the locality.

Giving gifts to families in difficult circumstances

In recent years, in addition to itseducational and training missions, the Army Academy has always focused on gratitude and social activities. The school has built and donated many Gratitude Houses, Comrade Houses, Great Solidarity Houses, Trade Union Shelters, and 100-dong Houses; organized visits and presented thousands of gifts to policy families and poor households on the occasion of holidays and Tet.

In addition, the Academy also actively cooperates with the Party Committees and authorities of the twinned units in Lam Dong province to organize many meaningful and practical mass mobilization activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and deep military-civilian affection.
