Make Ham Thuan a fairly developed locality of the province

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, in the context of many difficulties, under the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels, the government, and the efforts of the people, Ham Thuan commune has achieved many important achievements in the socio-economic fields. That is the premise for the commune to determine the goals and key directions in the term 2025 - 2030.

Ham Thuan commune was merged from Thuan Minh commune, Ham Duc commune and Ma Lam town. After the merger, the commune has a natural area of 198.36 ^km2 , population of 50,680 people. The Party Committee has 55 grassroots Party organizations, with 1,388 Party members.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, despite facing many difficulties, the Party Committee and people of Ham Thuan commune have promoted the spirit of solidarity, effectively implemented the Party's resolutions, with results achieving and exceeding 11/11 main targets. In particular, small-scale industry, trade and services continue to develop and operate effectively. Collective economic types have gradually innovated their methods of operation, diversified services and had 14 products recognized as OCOP. The locality focuses on intensive investment solutions, focusing on the production of key crops with high economic value associated with the application of scientific, technical and high-tech advances; paying attention to renovating and upgrading the internal irrigation system, especially canals and flood drainage ditches. In 5 years, the commune's budget revenue was 35,857 million VND, reaching 114% of the plan. In addition, the work of taking care of people's health has been given attention. 17/17 villages and neighborhoods meet cultural standards and 100% of units meet cultural standards...

Regarding the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, attention is paid to the orientation of public opinion, and difficult and pressing issues that arise are promptly reflected for resolution by competent authorities. The assessment and classification of grassroots party organizations and cadres and party members are increasingly becoming more substantial. Every year, 99% of party members complete their tasks or better, and 80% of party cells and party committees complete their tasks or better.

Focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural production towards high technology. Well implementing the management of land, forests, minerals, environment, the National Target Program on New Rural Construction and basic construction. Strengthening the mobilization, attraction and effective use of resources to serve development requirements; focusing on investment to complete socio-economic infrastructure. Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and the executive capacity of the government...

The first Congress of the Party Committee of Ham Thuan Commune, term 2025 - 2030, took place on July 18. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Ham Thuan Commune consists of 19 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Commune consists of 8 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Thach was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Pham Thi To Loan and Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Anh were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretaries.
