On September 1, in the central area of Bai Sau (Vung Tau ward, Ho Chi Minh City), people flocked to Tam Thang Square. Many tourists excitedly recorded the moment at the foot of Tam Thang Tower, the architectural highlight of the project.
Not only a check-in place, Tam Thang Square has also become a new community space. Many families bring their children to play in the shallow fountain area; groups of young people gather at the water music stage to watch the artistic light performances. In the photo, Mr. Nguyen Tu Lua's family (Long Hai commune, Ho Chi Minh City) and his family take a souvenir photo at Tam Thang tower.

The family of Nguyen Ngoc Anh, a student at Vung Tau High School, brought the national flag to Tam Thang Square to take photos to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2. Ngoc Anh said she was very excited about this new check-in spot, especially in the atmosphere near National Day, which made her emotional and proud of the sacrifices of the previous generation.
The highest point of the square is Mui Vong Canh, which also attracts many people to see the whole view of Bai Sau beach.
The most popular check-in spot these days is the Vung Tau Martyrs Monument. From this location, visitors can look straight down to Tam Thang Square with a panoramic view of the iconic tower standing out against the blue sea.
Many young people choose this place as their favorite photo spot because of its panoramic and impressive view of Vung Tau's new construction. Mr. Minh Hoang (a tourist from Dong Nai ) shared: "Standing at the Martyrs Monument, looking down at Tam Thang Square sparkling with lights at night is really impressive. This will definitely be a new typical scene of Vung Tau, a place where anyone who comes will want to keep memories."
On the first day of its opening, the number of people visiting Tam Thang Square was estimated at thousands. It is expected that in the coming days, this place will continue to be a "hot spot" for tourists when coming to Vung Tau.
The project has a total investment of 155 billion VND, sponsored by Sun Group for design and construction, completed in just 75 days. The designer is Italian architect Oliviero Godi and a team of international experts, creating a new urban symbol that is both artistic and honors the history associated with the three villages of Thang Nhat - Thang Nhi - Thang Tam.
This will be the venue for the Art Program to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. The Organizing Committee has checked the overall sound and lighting for the performance on the evening of September 2.
