Weather highlights for the night of March 31 and April 1, 2024
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, March 31, the South will be hot with temperatures at 1 p.m. commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius.
The areas from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen are hot and extremely hot, with temperatures of 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius such as: Tuyen Hoa (Quang Binh) 38.7 degrees Celsius, Dong Ha (Quang Tri) 37.2 degrees Celsius, Nam Dong (Thua Thien Hue) 37.3 degrees Celsius, Son Hoa (Phu Yen) 37.5 degrees Celsius.
The Northwest and Central Highlands are locally hot.

April 1-2, the Northwest will be hot and extremely hot. The Northeast and the South will be hot and extremely hot in some places. Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will be hot and extremely hot, especially in some places.
Specifically, on April 1, the highest temperature in the Northwest is generally 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius; Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen 36-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 39 degrees Celsius; Northeast and South 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 37 degrees Celsius.
The highest temperature on April 2 in the Northwest fluctuates from 36-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius; Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen 37-39 degrees Celsius, some places over 39 degrees Celsius; Northeast and South 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 37 degrees Celsius.
Heat and severe heat, especially severe in some places in the Northwest and the Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen region, is likely to last until about April 5. Heat in the Northeast may last until April 4. Heat in the South is forecast to continue for many days to come.
The meteorological agency noted that the predicted temperature in the heat bulletin and the actual felt temperature outside can differ by 2-4 degrees Celsius, or even higher depending on the conditions of the surface such as concrete and asphalt.
