The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has issued a Northeast monsoon bulletin, cold weather and weather forecast for the next 10 days, from tonight, February 8 to February 18, for the whole country.

Accordingly, by the afternoon of February 8, cold air had affected most of the Northeast and North Central regions, and some places in the Northwest and North Central regions.

The Gulf of Tonkin and the North East Sea have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7.

It is forecasted that on land, on the night of February 8 and February 9, cold air will continue to affect some other places in the Northwest and Central Central regions. On land, strong Northeast winds will be level 3, coastal areas will be level 3-4.

The Northeast region is very cold, with some places experiencing severe cold; the Hoa Binh , Lao Cai, Yen Bai and North Central regions are very cold, with some places experiencing severe cold. During this cold spell, the lowest temperature in the North is generally 11-13 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North it is 8-10 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas it is below 3 degrees Celsius; the North Central region is 14-17 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological agency warns that from early morning on February 9, the Quang Tri to Binh Dinh area will experience rain, showers, and locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

The North and Thanh Hoa have some rain, Lai Chau - Dien Bien have sunny afternoons. It is cold, the Northeast has severe cold, some places are very cold. From February 10, it is cold, some places in the mountains have severe cold.

From Nghe An to Ha Tinh, there will be scattered rain and light rain. Cold weather.

From Quang Binh to Binh Dinh, there will be rain in some places. From February 9, there will be rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places, with heavy rain in some places.

Other areas have no rain at night and sunny days.

Weather changes from 3-10 days

In the Northeast, it will rain in some places. It will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. From February 14, it will be cold at night and in the morning.

In the Northwest and North Central regions, from February 10-13, it will be cold, with some places experiencing severe cold; from February 14, it will be cold at night and in the morning.

From the night of February 10-11, the area from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain.

Other areas have no rain at night, sunny during the day, except for the Southeast region where there are places with hot sun.
