Domestic pepper prices updated on the afternoon of June 7, 2025

On June 7, the domestic pepper market unexpectedly turned down compared to the previous two increasing sessions; meanwhile, the world pepper market was stable and flat compared to yesterday.

According to experts, geopolitical instability and changes in trade tax policies have disrupted the normal flow of trade and caused disruption in the global logistics system. These factors have led to sharp increases in shipping costs, making exporters hesitant to quote prices for future shipments.

Along with that, the cautious market sentiment in the face of constant fluctuations in pepper trading floors is also putting pressure on prices.

Import demand from many countries is very slow, due to unclear tariff levels, making businesses cautious in signing contracts. As a result, inventories in many countries have decreased significantly in the past two months due to the hesitation of importers...

According to analysts, the global pepper market is entering a period of stable supply and demand, but logistics cost pressures and weather risks are still factors to monitor. The fact that major importing countries such as China and the US are starting to show signs of recovering demand will be an opportunity for pepper prices to continue to increase in the coming time.
