Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of June 8, 2025 |
According to experts, the sharp decline in domestic coffee prices is believed to be due to pressure from abundant supply and the downward trend of both Robusta and Arabica in the international market. Therefore, growers should closely monitor price movements to choose the right time to sell, and pay attention to transportation costs when fuel prices have not cooled down.
In the short term, coffee prices may continue to be under pressure if global supply does not change dramatically.
Vietnam’s 2025–26 coffee crop year opens with a positive outlook thanks to favorable weather conditions. Abundant rainfall in recent times has improved expectations for coffee supplies. However, this could put further downward pressure on global coffee prices, which are at a seven-month low.
Experts say the improved supply outlook is putting downward pressure on prices, but the market is technically oversold, which could lead to a rally if speculators close short positions.
Vietnam Customs reported that Vietnam's coffee exports in May 2025 jumped 60.5% year-on-year to 148,762 tons. However, cumulative exports from January to May still decreased by 1.8% year-on-year to 823,908 tons.
