Meanwhile, in the context of Vietnam's pepper output trending down, many farmers are proactively keeping their goods in warehouses waiting for prices, the shortage of goods further tilts the supply-demand balance towards sellers. This is considered a factor that can support pepper prices in the medium and long term.
However, in the short term, the market outlook remains bleak. Experts predict that if the downward trend continues, pepper prices this week may slide to VND140,000/kg.

Specifically, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,437 USD/ton; similarly, Muntok white pepper is currently purchased at 10,142 USD/ton.
The Malaysian pepper market continues to remain stable, currently the price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper is purchased at 9,150 USD/ton and the price of ASTA white pepper is at 11,850 USD/ton.
Pepper prices in Brazil tend to move sideways, with little fluctuation compared to the previous trading session. Currently, the purchase price is at 6,150 USD/ton.
Vietnam's pepper export market has stabilized and is currently flat. Vietnam's black pepper export price is currently at 6,300 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l at 6,400 USD/ton and white pepper is at 9,300 USD/ton.
