Domestic coffee price forecast on July 13, 2025

Scenario 1: Domestic coffee prices may recover slightly by VND100-200/kg. The reason is that the international market (Arabica floor) shows signs of increasing, creating positive sentiment. At the same time, farmers in many regions do not want to sell at prices below VND90,000/kg, causing supply to decrease.

Scenario 2: Prices may fall by another VND100-300/kg if international Robusta prices continue to plummet. Some exporters may delay purchases, creating a demand gap.

International coffee price forecast on July 13, 2025

London Stock Exchange (Robusta): Likely to continue to face downward pressure after 4 consecutive sessions of decline, but may also slow down to regain balance.

New York Stock Exchange (Arabica): Expected slight recovery, supporting global market sentiment.

Main cause

International impact: Robusta prices on the London floor fell sharply, causing FOB export prices from Vietnam to decrease, directly affecting domestic prices.

Farmers' psychology of dumping goods: Due to the heavy rainy season in the Central Highlands causing difficulties in preservation, many households choose to sell early to reduce risks.

Export business strategy: Some companies are reducing purchases to wait for stable international prices, in the context of high transportation costs and weak demand from Europe.

Long term outlook

Demand increases in autumn and winter in Europe and North America.

Global inventories fell slightly, especially at the ports of Rotterdam and Hamburg.

Weather risks in Brazil (drought, frost) could push Arabica and Robusta prices back up.

If the London floor recovers soon, domestic coffee prices could exceed VND93,000/kg in the second half of July.
