The first option is to call on local businesses to sponsor and accompany long-term. The goal is to maintain a professional football field in Tam Ky and neighboring areas, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people, while promoting tourism and sports .

Quang Nam FC hopes to establish a “sponsor club” with enough passion and financial capacity to sustainably engage with top-flight football. In the absence of new investors, the second option will be activated.

Accordingly, all players, coaches, and staff of Quang Nam Club and Quang Nam Youth Football Training Center will be transferred to Da Nang Club. This is a step in the restructuring plan, aiming to build a strong football team with rich Quang-Da identity, worthy representative of Da Nang city in the future.

Previously, on the afternoon of July 21, CEO Nguyen Trong directly met with the coaching staff and players with contracts to announce that Quang Nam would not participate in V.League 2025/26. Immediately after that, the entire team stopped training and withdrew from the pre-season friendly tournament taking place right at home in Tam Ky.

Having won the 2017 V.League under coach Hoang Van Phuc, Quang Nam FC has since declined due to a lack of sustainable development orientation. The team is mainly on loan and has no quality players, causing the team to constantly face the risk of relegation.

Despite returning to the V.League, Quang Nam has never escaped the relegation battle. The latest move will likely end the journey of a team that was once the pride of football in the Central region.
