According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, there are currently 8 border communes with 36 schools from primary to secondary level in the province. Currently, the communes have a need for more than 19,300 students, of which the boarding demand is nearly 1,300 students, the semi-boarding demand is more than 9,200 students. Based on the reports of the localities, the demand for investment in facilities for schools in border communes mainly adds 390 needs for 14 items at existing schools, of which some items such as: classrooms, subject classrooms, kitchens, and canteens account for high demand. The estimated funding demand for implementation is about 396 billion VND, a decrease of about 143 billion VND compared to the funding demand previously registered with the Ministry of Education and Training .
The items are built on existing land locations of schools, without compensation or clearance issues, making construction easier. The Department of Education and Training is finalizing the report to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training for synthesis.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized: In fact, schools in the border communes of Dong Nai have a large demand for boarding, so it is necessary to calculate adjustments and upgrades in facilities and infrastructure to best meet the needs of students. For boarding needs, there must be public housing to serve the needs of the teaching staff. In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the policy of building a Project to comprehensively develop the quality of teaching and learning in border communes for the period 2025-2030, which must be approved by October 2025 at the latest.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Thi Hang assigned the Department of Education and Training to advise the Provincial People's Committee to establish a team to conduct a field survey in 8 communes next week, from which to synthesize information to report to the Ministry of Education and Training before August 5, noting that the report must ensure 6 things: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results. After the survey, based on the actual records, a Project for Comprehensive Development of Teaching and Learning Quality in Border Communes for the 2025-2030 period will be developed.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: Departments, branches, units and localities must strive to fulfill their tasks and strive to basically complete the investment in building school facilities for 8 border communes in the province within 2 years.
