This year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology plans to enroll 9,680 students for 65 training programs.
The school uses the following admission methods:
- Talent search;
- Admission based on the results of the 2024 and 2025 thinking assessment test;
- Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025;
- Other admissions are for cases of nomination; agreement students and students studying at high schools abroad.
With the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, Hanoi University of Science and Technology continues to use 10 admission combinations and main subjects according to previous years including: A00, A01, A02, B00, D01, D04, D07, D26, D28 and D29 (different majors use different combinations).
In addition, the school added a new combination K01 (Math, Literature, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT), in which Math and Literature are 2 compulsory subjects, combined with 1 of 4 subjects Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT used for all admission codes.
Candidates with international language certificates can convert them into foreign language scores when applying for admission based on high school graduation exam scores and add bonus points when applying for admission based on talent and ability assessment test scores.
This year, tuition fees for most majors at the school are expected to increase. Specifically, tuition fees for the standard program are around 28-35 million VND/year. Compared to last year, tuition fees have increased by 4-5 million VND depending on the major.
Similarly, Elitech programs have tuition fees ranging from 35 to 45 million VND/year, an increase of about 2 to 3 million VND compared to last year. In particular, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) and Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs maintain tuition fees of 64 to 67 million VND/school year.
For international professional English dual degree programs, tuition will be 51 million VND/year, including registration fee. Thus, compared to last year, the revenue has increased by about 6 million VND.
International cooperation programs and international training links also increased with tuition fees of 26 - 30 million VND/semester.
The school said that this tuition fee may be adjusted for the following school years, but the average increase for all training programs will not exceed 10% per year.
