On the afternoon of June 9, a working delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training led by Permanent Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong had a working session with Dong Nai province on preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam and state management of the education and training sector when implementing two-level local government.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, the whole province has 37,429 candidates registered to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam (including 671 candidates taking the 2006 general education program) at 64 testing locations located at high schools and continuingeducation centers in 11 districts and 2 cities of Bien Hoa and Long Khanh.
Of the 64 high school graduation exam sites in 2025, 62 are for candidates taking the exam under the new 2018 general education program and 2 exam sites located in Thong Nhat district and Bien Hoa city for candidates taking the exam under the old 2006 general education program.
Dong Nai province has mobilized more than 5,600 teachers to work as exam invigilators, and nearly 320 officials to work as exam site leaders and exam site secretaries.
Regarding preparation, the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province closely coordinated with the People's Committees of districts and cities where the test sites were located to review the preparation of facilities and develop plans to ensure security and order inside and outside the test sites.
Dong Nai Department of Education and Training coordinates with Dong Nai Electricity Company Limited to inspect and ensure safe and uninterrupted power supply to exam sites.
In addition, the Provincial Police and the Dong Nai Department of Health mobilized over 500 officers and employees to ensure security, order and health for all examination sites. After the examination ends, the department will continue to mobilize 500 more officers and teachers from high schools to perform exam marking duties.
At the inspection, Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong acknowledged: The Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Dong Nai province proactively directed timely preparations for the exam.
The Deputy Minister noted that the Steering Committee must not be subjective, continue to do a good job of preparing for the exam to ensure safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations, as well as continue to organize training on inspection and examination work before, during, and after the exam.
"In all stages, preparation is the important stage, there must be no mistakes. Attention must be paid to handling unusual situations, rain, storms..." - Mr. Thuong noted.
