Determined to win to have an advantage in the quarter-finals, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa continued to use the main frame such as Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Nguyen Thi Uyen... The Vietnamese team started quite well but the team from Brazil also played impressively, taking advantage of opportunities better, thereby winning 25/23.
Impressive comeback
The Vietnamese volleyball team girls rose up strongly, attacked effectively and organized defense much better than in game 1, thanks to that they won 25/15 against the U.21 Bauru team, equalizing the score 1-1.
Coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa's students showed confidence through winning 25/16 in game 3 and 25/15 in game 4, thereby ending the comeback to win 3-1 against U.21 Bauru.
Closing the group stage with 2 wins (against U.21 France, U.21 Bauru), 1 loss (against U.21 China), the Vietnamese women's volleyball team entered the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Future Stars international friendly volleyball tournament. The opponent of the Vietnamese team in the quarterfinals is the 3rd ranked team in Group B, which will be determined after today's match.
