Most businesses, when carrying out procedures to change administrative boundary information on their business registration certificates, hope that the authorities can connect data on administrative boundaries so that businesses do not have to update them themselves. When the State adjusts boundaries, the database will automatically update for businesses. That way, businesses will not have to worry about "inconsistent information", saving costs and reducing administrative procedure pressure.

In fact, the need to change administrative boundary information on business registration certificates mainly focuses on the group of enterprises that need to apply for sub-licenses; open or change information at banks; register to participate in bidding, sign contracts with partners, especially state-owned enterprises or FDI enterprises.

It was noted that in the first days of July, the support atmosphere was quite urgent. Business registration officers both guided enterprises to carry out procedures online and contacted the Department of Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development, the Ministry of Finance and related units to promptly process documents for enterprises.

Previously, the Department of Finance also sent a document to local businesses requesting that businesses continue to use the business registration certificate, business household registration certificate, etc. that have been issued. The business registration agency does not require businesses to register changes in address information due to changes in administrative boundaries. Businesses only update address information due to changes in administrative boundaries on the business registration certificate when needed or at the same time when registering changes, notifying changes to other contents in the business registration.

Communicate information to promptly process business records

In addition, the Tax Department of Region XII - "One-stop" Department of Hue City (now Hue City Tax) has also sent a notice to enterprises in Hue City about updating taxpayers' address information according to the new administrative area and the tax authority directly managing the taxpayer. Specifically, the tax authority will update taxpayers' address information on the tax industry's database system according to the new administrative area list. Changing the taxpayer's address according to the new administrative area list does not require the taxpayer to adjust the information on the business registration certificate.

At the same time, it is affirmed: "This notice is the basis for taxpayers to explain to relevant agencies or to customers in case the address stated on the invoice is the address that the tax authority has updated according to the new administrative area list but the information on the business registration certificate is still the address according to the old administrative area list." In case the taxpayer needs to update the business registration certificate, the tax authority requests the taxpayer to carry out the procedures as prescribed with the business registration authority.
