The National Assembly delegation of Tuyen Quang province attended the meeting of General Secretary To Lam with generations of National Assembly deputies through the periods.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2), towards the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and the 14th National Congress of the Party. On the morning of August 27, in Hanoi, the National Assembly Standing Committee organized a meeting between General Secretary To Lam and generations of National Assembly deputies of different periods.

Attending the meeting were: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; Politburo member, President Luong Cuong; Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Politburo member, former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; former Politburo members, former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Sinh Hung, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and former Politburo members, former Party Central Committee members; leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and nearly 2,000 National Assembly deputies of different periods.

Provincial leaders and delegates attended the meeting.

On behalf of Tuyen Quang province, there were comrades: Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the full-time National Assembly Delegation of the XV Provincial term; Ma Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the full-time National Assembly Delegation of the XV Provincial term; National Assembly Delegates from the first to the fifteenth term in the province; representatives of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting was held to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly through the ages; affirm the role, position and great contributions of generations of National Assembly deputies in the cause of national construction and defense. At the same time, it was also an opportunity for the General Secretary, Party and State leaders to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, opinions and experiences of generations of National Assembly deputies; continue to promote the spirit of innovation and improve the quality of the National Assembly's activities in the new period.

At the meeting, General Secretary To Lam respectfully commended and acknowledged the important contributions of the Vietnamese National Assembly in general and generations of National Assembly deputies in particular over the past nearly 80 years. The General Secretary emphasized that, in response to the requirements of national development in the new situation, the National Assembly and National Assembly deputies need to continue to promote a sense of responsibility, be close to the people, honestly reflect the will and aspirations of voters, and make practical contributions to the cause of national construction and defense.

Through the meeting, the National Assembly delegates of Tuyen Quang province expressed their honor and pride in meeting and listening to the General Secretary's instructions. At the same time, they affirmed that they will continue to inherit and promote the traditions of previous generations, strive to innovate, improve the quality of activities, and be worthy of the trust of the Party, State and People.
