Delegation of officials from 9 provinces of Northern Laos visited some agricultural models in Mai Son

On June 26, a delegation of officials from the Department of Agriculture and Forestry of 9 northern provinces of the Lao PDR visited a number of agricultural models in Mai Son district.

DOVECO Son La Vegetable and Fruit Processing Center introduces processes and products to Lao delegation.

The delegation visited the DOVECO Son La Vegetable and Fruit Processing Center and the custard apple growing model in Hat Lot town. Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province, along with businesses and households, introduced the technical production process, soil and climate conditions suitable for each type of crop; shared experiences in developing models and plans, and product output solutions.

The delegation of Laotian provinces hopes that Son La province will continue to support and share experiences in implementing models; transfer scientific and technical advances and plant varieties for the northern Laotian provinces to apply into production practices.
