On the evening of July 23, the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) and the conversion rules equivalent to the admission scores of the 2025 admission methods.

Accordingly, the minimum score for considering high school graduation exam scores for all majors is 19, down 2 points compared to last year. Meanwhile, the minimum score for considering the competency assessment exam scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University increased 20 points compared to last year.

For majors/specializations in the field of law, candidates applying for admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam must have a score of 6.0 points or higher in math and literature or math or literature in the admission combination. For candidates applying for admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam, the total score must be 720/1,200 points or higher, and the average score of the 3-year high school transcript in math must be 6.0 points or higher.
