In 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the floor score for the health sector with university-level practice certificates in 2025, a decrease of 2 points compared to 2024.

In which, admission is based on high school graduation exam scores. Specifically: Medicine and dentistry have the highest minimum score of 20.5 points; traditional medicine and pharmacy have a minimum score of 19 points; the remaining majors have a minimum score of 17 points or more. With this minimum score, many candidates hope that this year's benchmark score will tend to decrease. However, according to experts, whether the benchmark score increases or decreases depends on many other factors such as the number of candidates registering, quotas, training programs, etc.
