Literature exam for grade 10 Hanoi 2025

This morning (June 7), more than 103,000 candidates completed the Literature exam for grade 10 in Hanoi for the 2025-2026 school year, with a test duration of 120 minutes.

According to the Hanoi public 10th grade entrance exam plan, candidates will take 3 exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. The Math and Literature exams will be in essay format, with 120 minutes for each subject. For Foreign Language, candidates will take a 60-minute multiple choice test, choosing one of the following languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean.

Admission score is the total score of three subjects on a 10-point scale, without coefficient, plus priority and incentive points (if any).

This year, Hanoi has about 127,000 junior high school graduates, of whom about 103,000 registered for the 10th grade public high school entrance exam. According to the Department of Education and Training, at least 64% of students registered for the exam passed the 10th grade public high school entrance exam, equivalent to more than 81,000 students.

It is expected that around July 4-6, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will simultaneously announce the exam scores and grade 10 benchmark scores. Successful candidates will confirm their enrollment from July 10-12.
