Yonhap quoted information from an interview published in the art magazine Artnet News on June 26, in which Ms. Kim said: "I felt how wonderfully the stature of Korean culture and art has increased when I traveled abroad or received international guests in the first year since President Yoon Suk Yeol took office." She mentioned the development in many aspects such as Korean films, music , fashion and cuisine.

In the interview, Ms. Kim also shared her contributions in introducing Korean culture to visiting foreign leaders. She also prepared gifts imbued with Korean culture when traveling abroad.
She believes she can play a role as a cultural bridge because of her experience organizing art exhibitions. A former director of Covana Contents, an art exhibition company, Kim recalls a particularly meaningful moment at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, in April, when she saw a previously unexhibited work by her favorite artist, Mark Rothko.
