Tuan Hien Construction and Trading Company Limited, located in Tong Son commune, was granted a mining license by the Thanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Environment in 2018, with a term of 30 years. Every year, the company supplies about 45 - 50,000m3 of construction stone for civil construction projects in the province and the country. Mr. Van Dinh Tuan, Director of the company, said: Compared to previous years, this year the construction materials consumption market is more favorable due to the many public investment projects as well as civil construction projects being started. Therefore, the demand for construction materials, including stone for common construction materials, has increased. Since the beginning of the year, the company has supplied the market with about 34,000m3 of various types of stone, an increase of 16% over the same period, reaching 60% of the yearly plan.

According to Mr. Tuan, at this time, purchasing power has decreased because the construction season has ended. However, to ensure supply for the market during the peak period of the last 3 months of the year, the enterprise will focus on human resources from 20 to 30 workers to boost production, ensuring jobs, and the average income for workers will reach 12 million VND/person/month. However, because the exploitation output from now until the end of the year is only 40% of capacity, so to ensure the demand for construction materials in the last months of the year, Mr. Hien hopes that the province will research and have a special mechanism to increase capacity as Dong Nai province has applied to enterprises that ensure the conditions of machinery, equipment, human resources, etc. If approved under this mechanism, the enterprise will work with the contractor to adjust the supply of materials according to the appropriate type and volume, avoiding scarcity, affecting the construction progress.

The Viet Nhat Joint Venture Concrete Factory, Trieu Son Commune, under Ha Thanh Investment Corporation, specializes in producing construction materials such as commercial concrete, Asphalt concrete, drainage pipes, Viet Nhat unburnt bricks, Viet Nhat Terrazzo bricks, etc. The factory's products are specialized in serving traffic and civil construction works in the province and the country. Mr. Dao Huy Dien, factory director, said: This year, many public investment projects have been deployed, constructed and the province has focused on directing to speed up the progress, so the demand for construction materials has increased, creating conditions for the factory's products to be consumed more conveniently and increased by 10 - 15% compared to the same period. However, at this time - when the local government at 2 levels is in the process of arranging and stabilizing the organizational apparatus, the construction progress of public investment projects is no longer as vibrant as before, the consumption of construction materials will slow down and become more difficult. However, that does not mean that the production of construction materials has slowed down. On the contrary, the unit still maintains production, ensures supply for the market, and maintains regular jobs for 40 - 50 workers, with an income of 5 - 7 million VND/person/month.

Thanh Hoa currently has more than 500 enterprises operating in the field of construction materials production, divided into 12 industry groups such as: cement, tiles, unburnt bricks, mining, processing of stone, sand... Regardless of the industry group, the consumption of products of enterprises from the beginning of the year until now has been more favorable than before, especially materials such as sand, gravel, stone, brick... Thereby, contributing to the growth of the industry - construction sector in the first 6 months of 2025 of Thanh Hoa province reaching 8.82%.

It is forecasted that by the end of 2025, the construction materials industry will continue to have many favorable factors from macroeconomic policies, real estate market recovery to large-scale public investment projects being deployed and constructed. However, to make the most of this regulation, many opinions say that businesses need to continue to improve production capacity, optimize costs, and promote technological innovation to meet market demand.
