Giving gifts to celebrate the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress to support the temporary housing elimination program

On June 18, the Thai Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee publicly announced the congratulatory gifts for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and transferred all the congratulatory gifts in cash (over 110 million VND) to the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund to support poor and near-poor households in the province to build Great Solidarity houses, practically responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025", launched by the Prime Minister on April 13.

Previously, on June 13 and 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Binh province successfully organized the 19th Congress, term 2024-2025, receiving congratulations from agencies, units, organizations, and individuals, inside and outside the province.

The congress discussed and agreed to set out many goals to be implemented in the new term. In particular, every year, 100% of poor and near-poor households in the province are supported, assisted, visited, and given gifts by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels on holidays and Tet. 100% of households when facing natural disasters, incidents, etc. are supported and assisted by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.

Strive to support the construction or repair of at least 1,800 Great Solidarity houses by the end of the term. By the end of 2025, basically eliminate temporary houses and dilapidated houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the province.

Previously, during the 2019-2024 term, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh province chaired, coordinated, mobilized, and raised hundreds of billions of VND, supported, and helped to renovate and repair 1,047 Great Solidarity houses; supported over 11,000 poor people with production materials, medical examination and treatment, and helped poor students overcome difficulties and study well; mobilized tens of billions of VND to support other provinces when they were hit by natural disasters, storms, floods, and epidemics.
