
According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police, the fire broke out at around 7:00 a.m. on July 17 at a paint manufacturing company located in Khanh Loi Quarter, Tan Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Tan Phuoc Khanh Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province).
According to witnesses at the scene, the fire suddenly broke out from inside the company and quickly spread. The fire then flared up violently, accompanied by loud explosions. Black smoke billowed dozens of meters high, covering the entire area.
Immediately after receiving the fire alarm, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (CC&CNCH) of area 32 immediately mobilized 3 fire trucks, 1 tanker truck and 24 officers and soldiers to the scene to carry out fire fighting work.
Realizing that the fire situation was complicated and at risk of spreading, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 32 requested the Command Information Center 114 to send additional reinforcements. The reinforcements later arrived with 7 vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers.
The fire broke out in a paint shop with an area of about 1,000 square meters. Currently, the fire fighting force is divided into many directions, spraying water to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas.
