On the basis of merging 3 administrative units: Ham Tien ward, Mui Ne ward and Thien Nghiep commune, Mui Ne today converges all advantages, promotes the potential of geographical location, economy, culture, society to become the center of tourism - service - technology of the province; is a civilized - friendly - modern destination in the Southeast of Lam Dong province. That affirms the vision of local leaders after rearranging the new administrative unit.

Dynamic Land

Mui Ne Ward currently has a natural area of 118.59 ^km2 , a population of 50,166 people. When mentioning this place, people immediately think of a famous tourist destination with blue sea, white sand, golden sunshine, wild beauty and sports activities on the sand, along with high-class resorts adjacent to the sea. This is a locality in the core area of Mui Ne National Tourist Area, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1772/QD-TTg dated December 18, 2018 and recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as Mui Ne National Tourist Area in Decision No. 2354/QD dated August 24, 2020.

Looking back on the 2020 - 2025 term, the locality has achieved and exceeded the targets set by the Ward Party Congress resolution. Notably, the Ham Tien - Mui Ne tourism brand continues to be maintained and developed. Sea tourism and sports activities are increasingly diverse, creating outstanding strengths for local tourism. Agricultural production remains stable; collective economic models are developed in conjunction with the application of technology in production, contributing to improving productivity and product quality. In the area, household economic sectors and private enterprises are also strongly developing, associated with traditional fish sauce and anchovy processing village activities.

In addition to its maritime characteristics, Mui Ne also has Phan Thiet Airport (Phan Thiet Airport) planned by the Ministry of Transport (formerly) in 2013, with an area of 543 hectares. The project is being restarted, this will be the second airport in Lam Dong province after Lien Khuong Airport. Phan Thiet Airport is a level 4E dual-use airport with a 3,050 m long runway, a passenger terminal with a designed capacity of 2 million passengers/year, shared for both civil aviation activities serving economic development; at the same time, it performs the task of national defense, protecting the airspace and sea of the southern part of the Fatherland.

Along with the leadership in economic activities, in the 2020-2025 term, the Ward Party Committee always focuses on social security work with the spirit of not leaving anyone behind. Since the end of 2024, implementing the program of Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Central Government, the locality has supported the repair and construction of 30 houses and 10 charity houses for the subjects. Currently, the whole ward has only 62 poor households.

Although it is a bustling coastal area, the political security and social order and safety situation in Mui Ne ward is always maintained. This includes the spirit of self-awareness and cooperation of the people in preventing and fighting crimes, building a self-management model, security cameras, inter-family fire safety teams, security and order protection teams, etc.

In the work of organizing and building the government apparatus, the locality has well implemented the Grassroots Democracy Regulations with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit", thereby maintaining the close relationship between the government and the people. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the role of the leader and the exemplary role of party members continue to be promoted. Thanks to that, the quality of party cells and party members is increasingly improved, every year, the rate of party cells completing their tasks well reaches 85 - 90%...

With all the advantages of geographical location, economy - culture - society, this is the basis for Mui Ne Ward Party Committee to set a common goal for the term 2025 - 2030: Building Mui Ne Ward as the center of tourism - service - technology of the province, becoming a civilized - friendly - modern destination in the Southeast of the province.

Realizing the aspiration, the Mui Ne Ward Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term proposed 3 breakthrough solutions, as the "key" for the locality to transform in the coming time. That is to promote the development of Mui Ne tourism according to the planning, expand the tourism space according to the new administrative area associated with the development of connecting tourist routes inside and outside the locality. At the same time, strengthen the management of land, construction, environmental sanitation; resolutely and thoroughly handle violations. Promote the role of people's supervision over state management in the fields of land and construction; effectively resolve complaints and denunciations. Regularly focus on improving the professional capacity of cadres and civil servants, ensuring to meet the requirements of new tasks. Along with that, it is necessary to reform administrative procedures, apply information technology, and digital transformation in a drastic, synchronous, and effective manner, remove barriers that limit business freedom, and improve and enhance the quality of the business environment.

The Mui Ne Ward Party Committee also pointed out the main tasks and solutions in the fields of economy; culture - society, science, technology; state management in the fields of land, construction, urban order, natural resources - environment, basic construction investment; national defense and security; building the government apparatus; building the Party and activities of the Front and socio-political organizations to create new development space and stimulate development momentum.

Mui Ne Ward Party Committee has determined the motto throughout the 2025 - 2030 term as "6 clear": clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear progress, clear results, clear inspection and supervision.
