On the afternoon of June 4, at Hoat Giang commune, Ha Trung district, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including delegates: Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Van Dong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy; Le Van Dau, Secretary of the Ha Trung District Party Committee, met with voters of Ha Trung district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation informed voters of the expected content and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported on the socio -economic situation, national defense and security of the province in the first 5 months of the year, solutions to implement key tasks in the last months of 2024; reported on the results of handling voters' petitions sent to the sessions of the Provincial People's Council.
Provincial People's Council Delegate Le Van Dong, Chief Prosecutor of the Provincial People's Procuracy, announced the expected content and agenda of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council to voters.
In a democratic and open atmosphere, voters of Ha Trung district proposed that the province invest in expanding Highway 523 from km0 to km6+400 (Hoat Giang); repairing Highway 523 from km10+300 to km12 (Ha Tien); and construct soon the project to expand the road surface and drainage ditch of Provincial Highway 522B passing through Ha Giang commune.

Voters of Ha Chau commune requested the province to repair road 527C from km5+300 to km8+700 due to degradation to ensure traffic safety, ensure production and daily life of Ha Chau commune people in particular and people in the area in general. At the same time, re-study the actual planning of road boundary markers of road 527C, and issue specific instructions so that people know and comply with the law.

Regarding irrigation, voters suggested that the province pay attention to repairing and upgrading a number of canals, bridges, culverts, and pumping stations in the district that have degraded and do not ensure service for agricultural production, including 2 culverts on provincial road 527C, km6+650 and km6+780 (Ha Chau), Da Vet pumping station in Hoat Giang commune, continue to invest in the remaining 800m of the canal from Da Vet to Cong Giang (Hoat Giang); upgrade the dyke lines of Canal 2 and Canal 3 (Ha Tan); build a spillway over the spillway of Cua Khau lake (Ha Bac) and upgrade Bac - Yen bridge (Song Nga village, Ha Bac commune).

Voters requested the province to promptly implement the project to upgrade the left dike of Hoat River through Ha Bac and Ha Giang communes according to Decision No. 2635/QD-BNN-TL dated June 30, 2023 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Voters of Ha Tien commune requested the province to manage the case of Bac Giang Company dredging the Hoat River (Ha Tien commune section) too deeply, causing the risk of subsidence of the T2 canal bridge, affecting some households living near this area.
Regarding the power system, voters suggested that the province direct Thanh Hoa Electricity Joint Stock Company to review and invest in upgrading power lines because the current electricity quality in some localities in the district is weak, not ensuring the daily life and production of the people.

Voters also requested the province to consider raising the budget for activities of socio-political organizations at the commune, village and residential group levels and to pay social insurance for the positions of Party cell secretaries and village chiefs; and promptly implement Decree No. 33/2023/ND-CP dated June 10, 2023 of the Government regulating commune-level cadres, civil servants and part-time workers at the commune level and in residential groups.
In the field of culture and society, voters suggested that the province pay attention to allocating the budget to repair some seriously degraded relics in the district such as Van Dien communal house (Hoat Giang); Bai Son communal house (Ha Tien)...

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi commented on the opinions, recommendations and reflections of voters of Ha Trung district; explained and clarified some issues of concern to voters. At the same time, he directed Ha Trung district and related departments and units to study and resolve proposals and recommendations within their authority.
Other opinions will be received, synthesized and submitted to the Provincial People's Council and competent authorities for consideration and resolution at the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.
