Da Nang launches AI data center with investment capital of 200 million USD

On August 28, IPTP Networks Telecommunications and Infrastructure Group officially launched the AIDC DeCenter Data Center project at Da Nang High-Tech Park, Da Nang city.

This is one of the first AI-Ready data centers in Vietnam, designed according to the Tier 3+/Tier 4 Uptime standard complex model, aiming to become the core infrastructure platform for high performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and cloud computing services.

AIDC DeCenter has an area of 10,000m2, with a capacity of 1,000 racks, a minimum capacity of 10MW, a total investment of 200 million USD (of which phase 1 is 20 million USD) and is expected to start construction on March 29, 2026.

This AI data center applies the Carrier Neutral model, allowing cost optimization, creating a healthy competitive environment, reducing the risk of dependence on a single supplier, ensuring low latency and multi-way connectivity.

Mr. Vladimir Kangin, CEO of IPTP Networks, affirmed that AIDC DeCenter is not just a data center, but the first international digital infrastructure ecosystem based in Vietnam. The goal of AIDC DeCenter is to create a safe, efficient and sustainable infrastructure, capable of meeting the most demanding computing problems of the AI and Blockchain era. From Da Nang, AIDC DeCenter will become a new technology gateway for Southeast Asia, helping Vietnam seize opportunities and rise strongly in the global infrastructure race.

According to Mr. Tran Van Bach, co-founder of DeCenter Foundation & AIDC DeCenter, this center is the first key project in a series of initiatives of DeCenter Foundation, but also the starting brick for a long-term vision to turn Vietnam into a regional data and AI center.

According to the forecast of Mordor Intelligence and GII Research, the Vietnamese data center market will grow from 524.7 MW (2025) to 950.4 MW (2030). Therefore, according to the leader of IPTP Networks, the birth of AIDC DeCenter is not only a strategic step to realize the vision of turning Vietnam into a regional data and AI center, but also lays the foundation for the development of the next strategic services: AI Cloud - AI cloud infrastructure for businesses; Human-Centered Audit Platform - transparent AI auditing platform; DePIN & RWA (distributed computing infrastructure network and digitalization of real -world assets)./.
