The flight marks the official launch of Philippine Airlines' direct flight route connecting Manila - Da Nang from July 1 with a frequency of 3 flights/week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and is expected to increase to 4 flights/week from November 2025.
The route uses Airbus A321 aircraft with a total of 199 seats, including 12 business class seats.

According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, Philippine Airlines' opening of the Da Nang route on the first day of Da Nang's official operation (July 1) is of great significance, affirming the policy of diversifying the ecosystem of tourism products and services along with expanding geographical space.
