Da Nang: 3-year-old girl suspected missing in Yen River

The search for a 3-year-old girl suspected of being missing in the Yen River (Hoa Vang Commune, Da Nang City) is still being urgently deployed, but as of the morning of August 26, there have been no results.

On August 26, the leader of the People's Committee of Hoa Vang Commune ( Da Nang City) confirmed that the authorities and local people mobilized all night to search for a 3-year-old girl suspected of falling into the Yen River.

According to initial information, at around 5:30 p.m. on August 25, TAN (3 years old, residing in Da Nang City) went to his maternal home in Hoa Vang Commune (nearly 10 km from home) to play. While going with his grandmother to the garden near Yen River, the child suddenly went missing. The family then reported the incident to the Hoa Vang Commune Police.

Authorities searched overnight for a 3-year-old child suspected of being missing in the Yen River area of ​​Da Nang.

That very night, police, militia and people quickly arrived at the scene and organized a search around the river area.

"From the information provided by the family, it was initially determined that the child fell into the river. The search is still being urgently carried out," informed the leader of Hoa Vang commune.

As of this morning, August 26, dozens of officers, soldiers and local people are continuing to expand the search area along the Yen River, while also checking the surrounding area to find the child's whereabouts.
