On the afternoon of August 4, at the film premiere for the press and media in Ho Chi Minh City, the director duo Bao Nhan - Nam Cito and the production unit of the film " Close the order! " confirmed the application of AI technology to change the face of Miss Thuy Tien for the female lead role.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter , Lumination representative (the unit that implemented AI for the film) said that the company has invested in research to apply AI technology to art in a methodical and controlled manner.
Some of the applied technologies include AI Face, which helps recreate a digital face that is realistic in terms of light, emotion, and movement; AI Character technology supports character building that completely replaces real actors while still maintaining the storyline and psychological depth.
In addition, the producer also uses Visual AI VFX Engine technology, which helps synchronize images, expressions, and voices at the frame level. This is to limit the impact on the flow of cinematic emotions.
According to the record, the female lead's segments were all processed using AI technology with a different face, but still had some features of Miss Thuy Tien.
Some viewers commented that the "face swap" technique was handled quite smoothly. However, the use of this technology inevitably has limitations such as the actor's face becoming stiff, especially the eyes lacking emotion.

From the time Thuy Tien was prosecuted (mid-May) until now, it has been just over 2 months, too short a time to find a new actress, schedule re-shooting of all the scenes with her appearance, and handle post-production. Therefore, many people believe that using AI is the most feasible option.
This is also the first time a Vietnamese film has used AI technology to handle a crisis on behalf of actors. Although the film has not been released nationwide, this choice is expected to cause a lot of controversy.
Around the world , some Chinese and Indian films have tried this technique, but received mixed reactions because the characters' faces were fake, distorting the image and reducing the emotions of the role.
