The work of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees is given top priority. In addition to strengthening supervision and advising business leaders to effectively implement policies and regimes for employees, trade unions at all levels also actively organize many activities to support and care for the lives of union members and employees. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Trade Union of Workers organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" with 6 "0 Dong" booths, wholesale booths, combined with traditional Tet folk games, Chung cake and Tet cake wrapping contests, traditional fruit tray decoration and hundreds of gifts to support and encourage union members and employees in difficult circumstances.
During the Workers' Month and the Month of Action for Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025, the Trade Union of Industrial Workers directed and guided the grassroots trade unions to organize meetings, exchanges, skill competitions, arts and sports competitions to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere. 18 enterprises organized periodic health check-ups and specialized health check-ups for 8,283 workers, with a total cost of more than 2.1 billion VND; 8 grassroots trade unions organized "Trade Union Meals" with the meal value increased to a maximum of 50,000 VND/person; 3 grassroots trade unions coordinated with employers to sign new collective labor agreements, in which the value of workers' meals increased to 20,000 VND/meal... Trade unions at all levels allocated funds to organize the giving of 300 gifts worth nearly 450 million VND to workers in difficult circumstances; organized visits and gave gifts to workers who had occupational accidents...
In order to share the thoughts and aspirations of the union members and employees, the provincial Trade Union in coordination with the provincial Social Insurance organized the program "Dialogue in May", providing labor law consultation at 2 newly established trade unions: Innoflow Phuoc Nam Company and VietSun Ninh Thuan Investment Company Limited; at the same time, collecting votes to summarize the opinions of employees, on that basis, proceeding with the enterprise to sign a collective labor agreement, organize shift meals, invest in facilities to serve the needs of rest and entertainment for employees. In addition, the Trade Union in coordination with the authorities also went to enterprises to propagate to thousands of employees about labor law regulations, occupational safety and hygiene. In addition, 11 trade unions coordinated with employers to organize dialogues at the workplace. With practical work, not only does it help employees and business owners grasp labor laws, but it also helps trade unions, functional agencies, and business owners understand the difficulties, thoughts, and aspirations of employees, thereby finding solutions to resolve and provide timely support, building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in the enterprise.
Implementing the theme "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", the Industrial Trade Union has widely launched the emulation movement "Excellent workers", "Creative workers"; organized commendations and awards, honoring workers with outstanding and exemplary achievements. There are 4 grassroots trade unions coordinating with enterprises to organize skill improvement competitions for 2,374 workers. On the occasion of Workers' Month, the Industrial Trade Union has newly established 1 grassroots trade union, admitted 3,830 new members; in addition, introduced 7 outstanding members to the Party Committee for training and consideration of admission, of which 3 outstanding members were admitted to the Party.
Comrade Ho Thi Xuan Hanh, President of the Industrial Trade Union, said: To meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation, the provincial Industrial Trade Union will further promote its role and responsibility, focus on propaganda and mobilization work for union members and employees to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, and the State's laws; compete in labor, produce well, be creative, and contribute to the development of enterprises. In particular, it will well perform the task of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, and be a solid support for union members and employees.
