On the morning of June 11, Mr. Pham Van Tran Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ayun Ha Commune (Phu Thien District, Gia Lai Province), said that prolonged heavy rain had caused the temporary bridge on National Highway 25 (through Doan Ket Village, Ayun Ha Commune) to be deeply flooded, causing traffic disruption.

Plei Lok Bridge (section through Doan Ket village, Ayun Ha commune) is currently being repaired, the construction unit has built a temporary bridge next to it to serve traffic.

Recently, there has been heavy rain in the area. From around 4am on June 11, the stream water rose due to heavy rain, causing this temporary bridge to be completely flooded. By 8:30am the same day, the water had not receded, the water flowed rapidly, and vehicles could not pass.

“The flooding started around 4am and has continued until now, causing traffic disruption,” said Mr. Hung.
National Highway 25 is a vital traffic route connecting Krong Pa district, Ayun Pa town and Phu Thien to Pleiku city. In response to the flooded bridge, local authorities have put up warning ropes and coordinated with functional forces to make a temporary path on the main bridge under repair so that pedestrians and motorbikes can pass. Cars, however, cannot pass and are forced to stop on both sides of the bridge.

Authorities are currently on duty at the scene to monitor the situation and ensure the safety of people and vehicles.
