The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) said that the above task is carried out based on Decision No. 1025, dated February 25, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security on the announcement of the list of new administrative procedures, including the field of testing, granting driving licenses and instructions on assigning the Traffic Police Department to approve the overall premises of type 1 and type 2 driving testing centers, and at the same time grant, re-grant and revoke licenses of type 1 and type 2 driving testing centers according to the order and procedures prescribed in Decree No. 160.
As of July 9, 2025, the Traffic Police Department has granted Testing Licenses to 30 driving test centers that are qualified to operate according to regulations. However, in this list, there is no testing center in Da Nang City (new) that has been licensed, while the number of students qualified to take the test is currently very large, many cases have to wait to take the test from the end of 2024.
Explaining the above issue, an official from the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said that Da Nang City (new) has 5 driving test centers in operation. Of which, Da Nang Driving Test Center is a type 1 center, the remaining 4 units are type 2 centers. The announcement of 30 centers qualified to operate by the Traffic Police Department is the first batch. The testing centers in Da Nang have just been inspected and will be licensed in the coming time.
As of yesterday, July 11, the Traffic Police Department has granted Testing Licenses to the Driving Testing Center under Quang Nam Transport Joint Stock Company, Phu Ninh Driving Training and Testing Center under Phuc Hoang Ngan Company Limited, and Quang Nam Driving Testing Center under Minh Son Quang Nam Joint Stock Company. Due to the later inspection time, the remaining 2 testing centers will be considered for granting Testing Licenses in the near future.
