On the evening of July 12, a representative of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Team 6) under Department 6 of the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) said that traffic police officers of the team had just assisted in guiding a taxi carrying a young patient to the hospital for emergency treatment quickly.

At around 7:30 p.m. the same day, the working group of Team 6, including Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Quang Luong (team leader), Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Xuan Mung, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Chi Tam, and Lieutenant Colonel Dang Viet Ha, were on duty on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway when they received a message from a mother who needed help because her son needed to go to the hospital immediately due to convulsions and cyanosis.

Ms. NTT (34 years old, living in Dong Nai province) said that her son, NHĐ. (7 years old), was stung by a bee while playing in the house. Afterwards, Đ. showed signs of anaphylactic shock, at risk of respiratory failure and respiratory arrest.

Ms. T's family quickly took her to a clinic near her home in Long Phuoc commune (old Long Thanh district), Dong Nai province for monitoring.

After that, D.'s condition became worse. Because the clinic had not yet prepared an ambulance, Ms. T. immediately called a taxi to take D. from Dong Nai to Children's Hospital 2 for emergency care and treatment.

When the car was driving on the highway and reached the Long Phuoc toll station, Ms. T's son started having convulsions. Worried that her son would get worse, Ms. T quickly told the taxi driver to pull over and ask the traffic police to lead the way to the hospital.

After receiving the information, Lieutenant Colonel Luong immediately reported to the team command for advice and then used a special motorbike to lead the taxi quickly to the hospital in time, taking D. to the emergency room.

Ms. T. said that currently, D. is still in the emergency room for doctors to monitor his health.

"I really thank the traffic police for enthusiastically helping to guide the taxi when my son was in critical condition, which could have affected his life. Thanks to them, the car was able to get to the hospital quickly," Ms. T. shared.
