Nearly 500 people received medical treatment at the A80 rehearsal.

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of August 30, the Ministry of Health reported on emergency care and medical examination and treatment during the State-level rehearsal of the celebration, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

Accordingly, medical work, emergency and medical examination and treatment have been urgently and synchronously deployed by the forces, with the coordination of many forces from hospitals under the Ministry of Health, Hanoi Department of Health, Military Medical Department (Ministry of National Defense), and Health Department ( Ministry of Public Security ).

Specifically, the total number of cases treated was nearly 500, of which 40 cases had to be transferred to other hospitals. Of which, the medical staff of the units under the Hanoi Department of Health alone received and treated a total of 213 cases, 19 cases were determined to be severe and transferred to other hospitals for further intensive treatment.

The police medical unit received 142 cases, 4 serious cases were transferred to Hanoi Heart Hospital.

Bach Mai Hospital received and treated 10 cases, of which 3 severe cases were transferred to A9 Emergency Center. Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received 15 cases, none of which had to be transferred. E Hospital received 9 cases, none of which were severe.

The final hospitals under the Ministry of Health and the Hanoi Department of Health such as Bach Mai, Viet Duc, Hanoi Heart Hospital and Xanh Pon General Hospital also promptly received and ensured the health safety of officers, soldiers and people participating in and watching the rehearsal.

The medical work at the A80 rehearsal showed initiative, responsibility and smooth coordination between units, contributing significantly to the overall success of this particularly important political and social event.

Previously, the Ministry of Health issued plan No. 1105 covering all areas related to health such as ensuring food safety, epidemic prevention, possible situations, including issues related to disasters.

The Ministry mobilized thousands of medical staff to join hundreds of medical teams on duty in all areas, from central areas to places where the parades passed through. In addition, the Ministry also deployed inspection teams on the environment, food safety, and epidemic prevention before the grand ceremony took place...

Specifically, the organization arranges medical teams to provide emergency care, medical examination and treatment, and health care for delegates, guests, and service staff. At the same time, promptly detect cases of infectious diseases.

Some hospitals have 5-10 beds ready in case of an emergency.

The health sector recommends that the elderly and those with one or more underlying diseases should find suitable locations to watch the parade or stay home to listen to the radio or watch TV. People with chronic diseases must also comply with treatment, and if they are taking medication, they must ensure they take the full dose.
