A few years ago, the children of billionaires were mainly known as inheritors of assets worth trillions of VND. However, recently, the sons of Vietnam's richest billionaires have begun to appear in technology-related businesses - a new piece in the ecosystem of corporations.

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's son contributes capital to establish a robotics company

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's two sons, Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, appeared as shareholders contributing capital to two technology companies belonging to Vingroup .

In November 2024, Vingroup announced the establishment of VinRobotics Robotics Research, Development and Application Joint Stock Company (VinRobotics) with a charter capital of VND 1,000 billion, to contribute to improving production efficiency and optimizing processes in the fields of industry, services and life.

Vingroup holds 51% of VinRobotics shares. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong contributes 39% of shares. Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang each have 5% of shares. The position of General Director is held by Mr. Ngo Quoc Hung.

In January, Vingroup established VinMotion Multi-purpose Robot Research, Development and Application Joint Stock Company (VinMotion), with a charter capital of VND1,000 billion. VinMotion's shareholder structure is similar to VinRobotics.

In addition, Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang is also General Director of Green Future Trading and Service Joint Stock Company.

This company was formerly known as FGF Trading and Service Joint Stock Company. FGF stands for For Green Future, operating in the field of buying, selling and renting VinFast electric vehicles.

Information from the National Business Registration Portal shows that the company was established on July 2, 2024 with a charter capital of VND 200 billion. The founding shareholders include 3 individuals.

Of which, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong contributed 180 billion VND, equivalent to 90% of the charter capital. Two other individuals, Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh contributed 200 million VND (equivalent to 0.1% of the capital) and Mr. Pham Khac Phuong contributed 19.8 billion VND (equivalent to 9.9% of the capital).

Last February, this company increased its capital to 2,000 billion VND.

Chairman Ho Hung Anh's son contributes capital to establish blockchain company

Mr. Ho Anh Minh is the son of billionaire Ho Hung Anh. The young master born in 1995 directly owns nearly 344.7 million Techcombank shares, equivalent to 4.9% of the bank's capital. As of June 17, the asset had a capitalization value of about VND 11,167 billion. Mr. Ho Anh Minh does not participate in the management of Techcombank.

Similar to Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, Mr. Ho Anh Minh also contributed capital to establish a technology company.

According to the National Business Registration Portal, on March 31, One Mount Group established a subsidiary, 1Matrix Joint Stock Company, with a charter capital of VND200 billion. This company's main business line is computer programming, specifically specializing in blockchain technology.

Regarding shareholders, One Mount Group contributed VND120 billion, equivalent to 60% of the charter capital. Decom Holdings Joint Stock Company contributed VND60 billion, equivalent to 30% and Mr. Ho Anh Minh contributed VND10 billion (accounting for 10%).

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and legal representative is Mr. Phan Duc Trung. Ms. Nguyen Thi Diu is the General Director of One Mount Group and also a member of the Board of Directors of 1Matrix.

Mr. Phan Duc Trung, born in 1971, is a familiar face in the Vietnamese technology industry. Mr. Trung is currently the Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association. In addition, the Chairman of 1Matrix is ​​also the brother-in-law of Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan Group, Member of the Board of Directors of Techcombank.
