Sharing with Dan Viet, the 2nd runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2008 added that not only the program's organizers but also herself are very perfectionists, being meticulous in every public appearance. However, the beauty still cannot avoid having "accidents" with her outfit before the event takes place.

"Honestly, I'm always careful but sometimes I still have "accidents" with my clothes. During the rehearsal night of this program, my evening gown had a problem. So, my stylist and I had to go to Dong Xuan market ( Hanoi ) to find a piece of fabric similar to the dress to solve the "incident". Finding a small piece of fabric similar to the dress was not easy. Because the dress was made by a designer in the South with imported materials... Luckily, I was still able to prepare the dress in time according to the requirements of the organizing committee", runner-up Thuy Van expressed.

Possessing a beautiful face that has been praised for being "forgotten" by time, runner-up Thuy Van cannot avoid speculation about having "undergo surgery" to make her face slimmer and more youthful. In response to suspicions of cosmetic surgery, runner-up Thuy Van frankly said: "I dare to affirm that my face is original. There was a time when I also thought about getting porcelain teeth or a nose job to look more Western. However, this intention was quickly dismissed."

In addition, I am a person who cannot stand pain, I must say I am very "cowardly" and also a bit "conservative" with myself. So the story that I had cosmetic surgery is completely untrue," the beauty born in 1986 expressed.

"Each person will have their own charm. I have been a MC for 15 years, standing on many big and small stages. So I understand what the audience needs from me and I always improve my knowledge to confidently shine. And the audience will always love and remember Thuy Van - a MC who is always dedicated and enthusiastic about her job", runner-up Thuy Van said.

Thuy Van won the second runner-up prize in the Miss Vietnam 2008 contest.
