Ms. Nong Thi Biet, Director of Minh Anh Cooperative, applied digital transformation and conducted livestream to sell lingzhi mushroom bonsai products.

Every night, Ms. Nong Thi Biet, Director of Minh Anh Cooperative, Bac Kan Ward, prepares a tripod, phone, products and quickly adjusts the lighting on the device to livestream sales. The product she introduces is lingzhi mushroom - one of the 3-star OCOP products of the Cooperative.

Instead of selling in the traditional way, now with just a smartphone, Ms. Biet reaches thousands of customers. Her livestreams attract hundreds of views, orders come from everywhere, helping Minh Anh's bonsai lingzhi mushroom products become widely known, contributing to increasing revenue for the Cooperative.

The turning point for Minh Anh Cooperative was when they participated in a training course on digital skills, livestreaming, and creating content to promote agricultural products on digital platforms, co-organized by the local Women's Union. From there, people who seemed "stranger" to technology confidently used smartphones to promote and sell products on social networking platforms.

Ms. Nong Thi Biet shared: “In the past, I thought social networks were just for entertainment. Now, selling online not only helps the Cooperative sell more products, but also makes customers more confident because they can see the product production process with their own eyes.”

Along with digital transformation in cooperatives, digital transformation is also taking place strongly at the government level. The application of technology in management, operation and provision of public services not only helps improve the efficiency of government operations but also promotes socio -economic development in a more sustainable and modern direction.

The system of documents and administrative procedures has been digitized, online public services have been widely disseminated, helping people save time and travel costs and access information in a transparent and quick manner. Many localities have also proactively created innovations in spreading digital knowledge to the community.

In Bach Thong commune, the Commune Youth Union has deployed the model of Electronic Bookcase and Electronic News Page to bring useful documents closer to the people. Through the QR code system installed at public places, with just a smartphone with internet connection, people can easily access more than 30 books in many fields, such as: Science and technology, law, agriculture and life...

The model not only overcomes the limitations of geographical distance and access to books and paper documents, but also gradually forms the habit of studying and looking up information on digital platforms. Such initiatives are contributing to making digital transformation closer, more practical and closely linked to the living needs of people in rural and mountainous areas.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duy, a resident of Ban Pe village, Bach Thong commune, shared: “Since having the electronic bookshelf, learning knowledge has become much more convenient. I can look up information about agricultural production techniques right at home without having to buy books and paper documents like before.”

Mr. Ha Ngoc Viet, Chairman of Bach Thong Commune People's Committee, digital transformation is not only a tool to support the government in management and operation, but more importantly, it gradually changes people's habits, awareness and access to information.

According to Mr. Viet, models such as electronic bookcases or online public services help people access knowledge, carry out administrative procedures quickly, saving time and money. When people proactively learn and use technology, the effectiveness of socio-economic development at the grassroots level also increases significantly.

Digital transformation in the northern communes of Thai Nguyen province is gradually becoming a reality, not only changing the way the government works but also opening up new opportunities for people to access information, knowledge and markets. From specific and practical models, it can be affirmed that digital transformation is no longer a slogan, but has become an important driving force for sustainable development in the highlands.
