The Bich Dam English Club was established in February 2025 by the Khanh Hoa People Speaking English Program Project Management Board in collaboration with the People's Committee and Farmers' Association of Vinh Nguyen Ward (Nha Trang City). The club has 40 members who are students and residents of Bich Dam Residential Group, meeting every Saturday. During the meetings, volunteers guide and support close learning methods, focusing on knowledge and basic communication skills, thereby helping members improve their English proficiency.

Being used to the rhythm of life associated with the sea, fishing nets, and boats, English seems to be something strange to the people here. Since the club was launched, people and students have had the opportunity to learn English for free. Members learn vocabulary and practice speaking basic English sentences. Nguyen Nhat Thang - a member of the club said that he had never learned English before. When the club was established, he started to get acquainted with English. Although English is a difficult language, it brings me many benefits, so I try to study well.

The establishment of the Club has brought a dynamic and friendly English learning environment to the community. The Club's activities are always accompanied by experienced teachers and volunteers. The lessons not only help people approach English in a natural and easy-to-understand way, but also create opportunities to practice in real-life communication situations so that students can apply them to life. In addition to basic English lessons and interesting language games, members also participate in communication with volunteers. All of this creates confidence and excitement when getting acquainted with a foreign language. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Truc - a member of the Club shared that by joining the Club, she can learn English for free and participate in games to review the lessons she has learned, so she feels excited when studying.

In order for students in Bich Dam to have a playground and consolidate their English knowledge, in April 2025, the Project Management Board of the Khanh Hoa People Speaking English Program organized the program "Ring the Golden Bell". At the program, students participated in answering English questions in many different fields and received gifts from the Organizing Committee. The program contributed to consolidating and expanding knowledge and inspiring, confidence and love of English to students; encouraging students to actively participate in the Bich Dam English Club.

According to the representative of the Khanh Hoa People Speaking English Project Management Board, members of the Bich Dam English Club have more limited access to English knowledge than those on the mainland. Therefore, the program builds lesson content suitable for the target group, starting from the most basic so that members can gradually approach English. Aiming to support Bich Dam people in developing tourism , the lessons will focus on knowledge content related to English communication in the tourism industry to equip members with knowledge and skills. Thereby, helping them have the opportunity to learn to communicate with foreign tourists; supporting Bich Dam families and communities in developing tourism.
