Special art program celebrating 75 years of Vietnam-Poland diplomatic relations

Not only is it an occasion to honor the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Poland diplomatic relations, the event is also a clear demonstration of the strong friendship between the two peoples.

On the evening of June 23, at the Polski Theater - a typical cultural space of the capital Warsaw, the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam to solemnly organize a special art program to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Poland (1950-2025).

The program was attended by many important guests from both countries.

On the Polish side, there was the participation of Mr. Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland; Ms. Bożena Żelazowska, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage; Mr. Alvin Gajadhur, Advisor to the President of Poland; Ms. Joanna Skoczek, Polish Ambassador to Vietnam, along with representatives of ministries, sectors, a number of members of the National Assembly, scholars, leaders of research institutes, friendship organizations and close friends who have accompanied Vietnam in many historical periods.

On the Vietnamese side, the program was honored to welcome Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai and his wife, representatives of domestic art units, Vietnamese associations, businesses, international students and a large Vietnamese community in Poland.

Diplomatic corps, artists and more than 600 Polish and international friends who love Vietnam also attended, filling the entire Polski Theater auditorium, creating a warm, harmonious and emotional atmosphere.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai affirmed that the event was an opportunity for the two countries to look back on the proud 75-year journey of the Vietnam-Poland friendship, built and nurtured with much affection, sharing and cooperation between generations of leaders and people of the two countries.

Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai emphasized that over the past 75 years, bilateral relations have been continuously strengthened and expanded in all areas from politics - diplomacy, economics - trade, education - training to culture - people-to-people exchange.

The Ambassador also acknowledged the positive and increasingly prominent role of the Vietnamese community in Poland, through its ability to integrate into the host society, preserve national cultural identity and effectively contribute to the friendly relations between the two countries.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, expressed deep gratitude to the Government and people of Poland for always giving good feelings and valuable support to Vietnam throughout its development journey.

Mr. Ho An Phong emphasized that this art program is part of the series of activities of the Vietnam Culture - Tourism Week in Poland and is also one of the activities to implement the results achieved from the official visit to Poland by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation last January, aiming to widely promote the traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnam, while opening up new directions for cooperation in the fields of tourism, heritage conservation and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Through the event, the Vietnamese State expressed its appreciation for the relationship with Poland and its desire to further deepen the Comprehensive Partnership in the coming time.

After the speech was a special art program with the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese culture" performed by artists from the Vietnam National Music, Dance and Dance Theater.

Elaborately staged performances such as “Non nuoc huu tinh”, “Sac mau co do”, “Que huong ba mien”, “Chum flute”, “Tinh ta bien bac dong xanh”, or concerts combined with Polish folk music such as “Niech żyje bal” and “Czerwone jagody” left a deep impression on the audience. The works not only have high artistic value but also carry a subtle message about the beauty of culture, tradition, love for the homeland and the desire for peace, cooperation and friendship among nations.

The exhibition introduces to the Polish public unique traditional handicraft products from famous Vietnamese craft villages such as Bat Trang pottery, Van Phuc silk, Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo, Hanoi lacquerware...

The works not only reflect the sophisticated technical level and aesthetic sense of Vietnamese artisans but also tell the unique cultural stories of each region. The exhibition has received much attention and appreciation, becoming a vibrant cultural highlight, contributing to widely promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends.
