On the afternoon of June 10, comrade Nguyen Van Duoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and a working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee worked with Binh Tan district on the socio -economic situation in the first 5 months of 2025 and resolved the district's recommendations.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc shared that the upcoming time will be very difficult, requiring Binh Tan District to continue promoting the achieved results. In which, the district's staff must unite, strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, especially demonstrating the role of the leader.

Specifically, the district must ensure that it does a good job of organizing a lean, strong, efficient, effective, and efficient apparatus. Work must be seamless and uninterrupted, especially work serving the people must be smooth and without omission.
The district must also urgently prepare facilities and conditions for the new wards to officially operate from July 1. In the immediate future, the wards must ensure personnel, headquarters, equipment, software, etc. to pilot the two-level local government model from June 12.
Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc noted the need to quickly stabilize the apparatus and ideological work for the staff, party members, especially those who have retired. Along with that, resolve the regimes and policies according to regulations to ensure the rights of workers in the process of restructuring the apparatus.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested that departments and branches must closely work with localities to review which functions and tasks are decentralized to the new commune level, and which functions and tasks are transferred from the (old) district level to the city level.
On the local side, comrade Nguyen Van Duoc also noted the need to edit records, digitize documents, classify and archive them to serve the work of arranging administrative units. Along with that, proactively review all records, projects, funds, people, tasks and implement and hand over clearly and closely.

Regarding the recommendations of Binh Tan District, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested departments, branches and sectors to coordinate with the district to review and resolve promptly. Issues beyond the authority must be reported to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for handling instructions. He noted that it is necessary to ensure the timely implementation of projects in the district, comply with the public investment plan and avoid delays.
Binh Tan District Party Secretary Huynh Khac Diep said that Binh Tan District has 10 wards. After the rearrangement, there are 5 wards left. The ward with the smallest population is over 117,000 people, the ward with the highest population is up to 190,000 people.
