According to Mr. Thanh, Hau Giang has achieved many impressive results in recent times. The average economic growth rate reached 9.24%/year, and in the first 6 months of 2025 alone, it is estimated to reach an impressive growth rate of 10.95%. For two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024, Hau Giang's provincial competitiveness index (PCI) was in the "top 10" nationwide.
At the same time, social security work has achieved many milestones, typically the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. These achievements could not have been achieved without the persistent and dedicated support of the provincial press agencies, journalists, and the attention and effective coordination of central press agencies and press units outside the province in propaganda work. "It is the dedication, enthusiasm and responsibility of you guys that have made an important contribution to writing the proud development journey of Hau Giang today," emphasized the Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, The Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee on awarding certificates of merit to many collectives and individuals who have contributed to Hau Giang Provincial journalism.
Rated as one of the newspapers with many good quality series of articles, timely reporting on the locality, Vietnam Law Newspaper was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province. Personally, journalist Dinh Hoai Thuong - Reporter of Vietnam Law Newspaper Representative Office in Can Tho City was also honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province for his outstanding achievements in the field of journalism on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
On this occasion, Hau Giang also announced and awarded the 21st Provincial Press Award in 2025. The Organizing Committee received 107 works of many genres and 36 excellent works were selected for awards.
