However, the current difficulty of the Bac Lieu high-tech shrimp development agricultural zone is that the land allocation procedures for investors have not been completed and the bridge construction to connect from Giong Nhan road to the project area has not been implemented.
At the commercial shrimp farming project and Viet Uc seafood processing factory (Viet Uc Group), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province listened to the group's representative briefly report on production and business activities in the past time. Accordingly, this unit is currently operating seed production, super-intensive shrimp farming using high technology, and applying a chemical-free water treatment system, with good results.
As for the processing plant, the construction has been basically completed and it is investing in more modern equipment and technology to put it into operation. The company representative also thanked the leaders of Ca Mau province and departments and branches for their attention and facilitation to help the company operate smoothly in the past time.
The survey team worked at the mixed-use eco-tourism project - a 409-hectare area invested by Delta Construction Group Co., Ltd.
For the mixed-use eco-tourism urban area - 409ha area, invested by Delta Construction Group Co., Ltd., the total investment is more than 22,000 billion VND, the project scale includes 10 subdivisions, including 7 residential subdivisions with 7,437 houses, the rest are hotel - conference subdivisions, amusement park subdivisions... Currently, the unit has basically completed the investment in traffic infrastructure, electricity, water, and green trees in the residential subdivisions, and is promoting procedures to implement the remaining subdivisions.
Regarding the LNG Power Plant project invested by Delta Offshore Energy (DOE), which was granted an investment certificate by the Provincial People's Committee in January 2020, with a designed capacity of 3,200 MW and a total investment of approximately 4 billion USD, all investment procedure problems under the province's jurisdiction have been resolved. Currently, the company is taking the next steps to implement the project according to the approved plan.
Chairman of Ca Mau province encouraged officials and workers working at the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Power Plant project.
With the Hoa Binh Wind Power Plant project, invested by Phuong Anh Construction and Trading Investment Company Limited, there are 39 turbines, a total designed capacity of 150MW, with a total investment of nearly 6 trillion VND. This project was put into operation and connected to the national grid in 2021, considered the largest offshore wind power project in the country. Currently, in addition to electricity production, the unit also combines sightseeing and tourism services. The company is also carrying out procedures to request approval to continue expanding the project investment with 3 more offshore power plants, combined with shared infrastructure of operating projects.
Speaking to the project investors, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai highly appreciated the determination and efforts of the investors in implementing the project progress in the past time, and at the same time acknowledged the proposals and recommendations of the investors, to promptly direct the handling.
“In recent times, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have paid great attention and created the best conditions for investors to implement projects in the province. During the implementation of projects, if any problems arise, within the authority of the Provincial People's Committee, investors are requested to contact the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee directly for timely resolution,” the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
