People in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China are experiencing a vegetable market with a “smart” design, making shopping easier. In front of each stall is a screen displaying information about the item, price, name, seller’s phone number, QR code for payment to electronic scales and information to trace the origin...

A pesticide residue testing room is also set up in the market so that consumers, if they have any doubts, can check on the spot, ensuring food safety.

The local government has upgraded the commercial space of nearly 4,000 square meters at the Hongshan Square subway station to build this vegetable market. The market is also fully equipped with fire prevention and fighting systems, water supply and drainage, ventilation and lighting... not only ensuring comfort and safety for people when traveling by train and shopping but also creating favorable conditions for vegetable growers and businesses when bringing goods here.
