Many universities in the province are currently applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology to support admissions consulting. At the same time, schools also have preferential and supportive policies to attract candidates from Dong Nai .
AI application for admissions consulting
Dr. Nguyen Van Trung, Director of the Admissions and Public Relations Center of Lac Hong University (abbreviated LHU, located in Tran Bien ward) said that from 2025, LHU will develop and integrate AI in admissions and training. Applying technology helps save human resources and reduce workload during peak admissions season.
Accordingly, AI Chatbot can support the admissions consulting team to answer questions according to available scenarios such as: consulting on majors, tuition fees, scholarships, admission combinations, training programs, etc. This automatic answering system can respond 24/7, without interrupting information, helping the school to advise candidates at all times, even outside of business hours.

In addition, applying technology also helps schools increase the effectiveness of reaching candidates. AI chatbots help collect information, store data of interested people, support classification and care to increase the possibility of admission.
“The information system provides accurate and consistent advice to candidates. At the same time, it can record the number of candidates' interests by industry, region, and time to adjust the enrollment strategy promptly,” said Dr. Nguyen Van Trung.
The application of AI in admissions consulting is not only suitable for the current technological development context, bringing convenience to candidates (being able to find information anytime, anywhere accurately) but also providing a modern experience, creating a professional and friendly feeling for the Gen Z generation.
Similarly, this year, to support candidates, the Dong Nai Forestry University Branch (abbreviated as VNUF2, Trang Bom Commune) has also deployed an AI Chatbot system for admissions consulting that operates 24/7. The AI Chatbot provides quick and accurate information about admission combinations, admission methods, tuition fees and career opportunities for candidates. This is a product developed by the school, completely free and does not require a login account.
To register for admission, candidates will enter 3 pieces of information: order of preference, school code and major code to register for admission. After the schools announce the admission results and if called for admission, candidates need to confirm their admission online on the system before 5:30 p.m. on August 30 to be officially recognized as admitted.
Eastern University of Technology (abbreviated as MIT Uni., located in Dau Giay commune) has applied AI Chatbot in admissions consulting in 2025. This technology feature not only helps optimize the care and consultation of parents and candidates, but also helps candidates easily access information quickly, accurately and personalized.
This is considered one of the school's breakthroughs in the process of comprehensive digital transformation. At the same time, it contributes to affirming the orientation of MIT Uni. to become an AI university, specializing in technology in the region.
President of Eastern University of Technology Pham Van Song affirmed: “The deployment of AI Chatbot shows that MIT Uni. not only cares about technology, but also puts the learner experience at the center, in line with the school's orientation of "real learning - real work".
Policy to attract and support candidates from Dong Nai
In 2025, Dong Nai province will have more than 50,000 candidates taking the high school graduation exam. This is an abundant source of students for universities to access. Therefore, universities in the province have introduced many preferential policies and regimes to attract this number of candidates.
For example, Lac Hong University prioritizes tuition fee reductions of 3-4.5 million VND for candidates studying at high schools in some wards and communes in the former Binh Phuoc province (except Dong Xoai ward, Binh Phuoc ward) and schools in the districts of Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, Cam My, Xuan Loc (in the former Dong Nai province).
This year, VNUF2 plans to enroll 1,000 full-time university students for 15 training majors. In addition to traditional admission combinations such as: A00, B00, C00 and D01, the school uses many new combinations to suit the 2018 General Education Program such as combination X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education), X02 (Math, Literature, Information Technology)...
“Tuition fees start from only 427,000 VND/credit (equivalent to 15-17 million VND/school year). In addition, the school will implement many diverse and attractive scholarship policies in 2025 and tuition fee exemptions and reductions according to State regulations,” said Dr. Nguyen Van Phu, Head of VNUF2 Training Department.
For candidates in remote communes, VNUF2 implements policies to add regional and subject priority points to the total admission score according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. At the same time, if they belong to priority subjects, they will enjoy tuition exemption and reduction according to regulations.
Students from remote areas or from Binh Phuoc province (old) will be given priority in arranging dormitory rooms at the school with a fee of only 600,000 VND/semester (120,000 VND/month). In addition, the school will reserve 150 million VND (50 admission scholarships) for regular university candidates who are admitted and confirm their enrollment as early as 2025.
Meanwhile, MIT Uni. has also issued many practical preferential policies for students in the region. Specifically, a 32% reduction in tuition fees for economic majors such as logistics and supply chain management; a 26% reduction in tuition fees for automotive engineering technology and a 22% reduction in tuition fees for information technology.
Dong Nai province has the largest number of Catholics in the country. Therefore, MIT Uni. has brought a special scholarship policy for Catholic candidates with scholarships ranging from 5-7 million VND (limited quantity). Candidates living far from the school (radius of 50km or more) will be supported with a housing scholarship worth 1 million VND.
